GENERAL OVERVIEW

The city of Belgorod-Dniestrovsky is located in the southwestern part of Odessa region, 20 km from the Black Sea on the right bank of the Dniester estuary, which is 42 km long and 4.5 to 12 km wide and is connected by a strait with the Black Sea. The distance to Odessa is 80 km. External communications of the city are carried out by road, rail, and water transport. The Odessa-Izmail, Odessa-Reni, and the Odessa-Izmail railway pass through Belgorod-Dniestrovsky.

The nearest ports and the distance to them specified in miles: Odessa – within 40, Illichivsk - 25, Izmail - 100, Ust-Dunaisk - 77. The approach of ships to the port is carried out both through the sea channel which length makes 2.22 km and by the Lyman channel with its length of 14.5 km. The depth of the approaching channel is 4.5 m.

The Belgorod-Dniester port is open for navigation all year round. In the cold season, northeastern and northerly winds predominate, and in the warm season, southeastern, southern, and northwestern winds come to the area. The number of days with strong winds up to 15 m / sec varies from 7 to 30 per year. Mean temperature varies within 8.8 to 11.5 ° C annually. Frosts are usually observed during the period from November to March. Fogs are observed on average 31 days basis a year. The largest number of days with fog are reported during the period from October to March.

The port provides services for processing, transportation and forwarding of transit, foreign trade and coastal shipping, as well as storage services. The port's cargo turnover consists mainly of containerized cargo: cement in containers, forest cargo, chemical products and others.

In 2019, the company processed 117.26 thousand tons of cargo, including 27.74 thousand tons of forest cargo, 60.63 thousand tons of chemicals and 7.48 thousand tons of cement in containers, 2.89 thousand tons cement and 18.52 thousand tons of other cargo. In 2020, the company processed 75.35 thousand tons of cargo, including 21.64 thousand tons of cement in containers, 18.53 thousand tons of forest cargo and 17.04 thousand tons of chemicals and 18.14 thousand tons other cargoes.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Ust-Dunaisk merchant seaport is situated in the southern part of Zhebriyanskiy Bay of the Black Sea, adjacent to the Ochakov mouth of the Danube River. The company is located on 5 land plots with the total area of 207.1491 ha.

The port specializes in transshipment of cargoes from sea-going to river-going vessels in view of transportation via the Danube and vice-versa. The port renders handling, transport and forwarding services for transit, foreign trade and coastal shipping cargo, as well as storage service. It provides reception, safe harborage and handling of lighters, barges and their accumulation for further transportation. The port's cargo turnover consists primarily of bulk cargoes: ore, ore concentrates, grains.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

As of November 1, 2019 the company owns 46 real estate objects, 36 vessels and other vehicles, floating berths. Real estate objects are located in 3 locations: 2 in Vylkove (Kiliya region) and 1 in Kiliya. Ice conditions occur only during severe winters, usually in the middle of December or the first half of January. Normally, the port gets free of ice in the second half of February or in early March. The port's sea approach channel is 7 km long and leads to three anchorages for large tonnage ships where passable depths have been lost by present time. Another connecting channel, of 1.5 km long, leads from the port's harbour into the Prorva Channel.

The port has a capacity of 250,000 tons of dry cargo and 10,000 passengers per year. The seaport includes 0.96 thousand square meters of critical warehouses and 10 thousand square meters open warehouses.

OPERATING OVERVIEW

In 2019, company processed 70.8 thsd. tones of cargo, including 51.2 thsd. tones of grain, 10.6 thsd. tones of chemicals and 9 thsd. tones of oil products. In 2020, company processed 24.4 thsd. tones of cargo, including 21.3 thsd. tones of grain and 3.1 thsd. tones of chemicals.

The Conglomerated Facility State Enterprise "Skadovsk Sea Port"

Skadovsk Sea Trading Port is offered for sale. The port of Skadovsk is located on the northern shore of the Dzharilgatsky Bay of the Black Sea. To the south, the bay is bounded by the coastline of the island of Dzharilgach. The water area of Skadovsk port is a bucket, the entrance to which is fenced with a dam. Its depth in the middle part is 5-5.3 m. Depths in the bay reach up to 10 m.
